122 Conversations Exhibition News Release

The final, culminating exhibition of 122 Conversations exhibited from September 25, 2018 through January 6, 2019 at the Tweed Museum of Art. The public event & opening on October 25 was a huge success with attendants from the community, the University of Duluth and the mayor’s office, including Mayor Emily Larson herself. All 6 sister cities artworks were represented at the exhibition and hundreds more Choices tiles were created to add to the already staggering number of participant created art. An inaugural production of Love Notes, an interactive exchange between attendants using art tiles, was performed with public volunteers. Events coincided with the exhibition:

October 25, 2018 | 6 – 8:30 pm | 122 Conversations: Person to Person, Art Beyond Borders Public Opening Reception, (special guests, Anne Labovitz, Mayor Emily Larson, DSCI delegate, Koresh Lakhan) The UMD MAAD LAB offered Live Streaming with some sister cities!
